Purple Table Talk

On Tuesday, April 9, at 2 pm, Dr. Irie Session, founding co-pastor of the Gathering, will offer a Webinar on Purple Table Talk.

In late February 2019, The Gathering used the Purple Table Talk format to discuss White Fragility by Robin DiAngelo. Purple Table talk offers us a model for engaging people in understanding racism. Dr. Session will describe the reasons she gravitated toward White Fragility, the read-in group that processed and initially discussed the book with her, and the Purple Table Talk format as a way of inviting the church to engage in justice-related conversations.

After you register online you will receive the webinar link and login information.
